Protocols of Venture Meetings

Dear Ventures,

Venture Meetings will be held regularly on the 1st and 3rd week of every month.

In case of clashes of other events/activities, dates will be subjected to change.

The agenda of the meetings will be sent out closer to the date of the meeting.

12TH MALAYSIA NATIONAL JAMBOREE

Dear Brothers and Sisters

It's another JAMBOREE! Whoever that is interested please do inform Rover Hulbert, we are only sending in THREE Secondary 1 and THREE Secondary 3. Just to let you know it can be paid using your Edusave! Below are the details for the 12th Malaysia Jamboree.

Date : 19 Nov – 25 Nov 2011 (The dates clashes with PLTC and NPC.)

Venue : Telaga Batin Scout Camp, Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu,Malaysia.

Theme: “Heritage Exploration”

Fee: $600.

Highlights: Exciting adventure challenges and water Activities, Survival Skill, Crafts, Arts, Global Development Village, Cultural Exchanges, Friendship and Social Bonding, Educational Tours, Swapping Markets and Environment Conservation.

The closing date for registration is 26^th August 2011. Grab your chance NOW before it's gone =).

Chief Commissioner's Awardees!

Let us congratulate Marcus Tan, Giggson Tan and Nurul Fitriah.

They have brought pride and honour to the Oneida Scouts Group by achieving the prestigious Chief Commisioner's Award.

This year out of the 21 recipents in the nation 3 of them comes from East Spring Secondary School.

We also have the first batch of girls to receive the CCA award in the Nation.

Out of the 4 recipients in Tampines District, 3 comes from East Spring Secondary School.

As of 2010, we have achieved a total of 5 CCA award holders !!!

Let us stop short of saying we are the best and always is the best and instead while we celebrate our achievements let us be humble in constantly challenging ourselves knowing that

"The best is always yet to be ......" .

RE: Survival Camp

Hey Ventures,

Just want to thank the junior ventures for attending the camp.

Without your participation, there would be no camp.

Without your endurance, there would be no camp.

Without our teamwork, we would not complete our tasks.

However, i guess this does not end here.

I hope that we can work together like how we did in the camp, during normal school days.

Hope we cherish these moments, as it would make our morale higher and together.

Last but not least, without the leaders and the senior ventures, we would have no camp at all.
